Thank you for the kind words! Huge props to Pangea for opening up the code as well; this wouldn't have been possible otherwise. Enjoy the games :)
I haven't played this game in 20 years and it's just as awesome as I remember it. Thank you!!
Thank you so much! The controller support is much appreciated, it's crazy that I can play full-resolution Bugdom with an Xbox 360 controller.
This revival is amazing! Thank you for taking the time to fix all of the problems and making this game optimized for newer operating systems!
Amazing !! This is a dream come true. Play original Bugdom on modern Mac. Thank You so much. Un immense merci - mastermac59 (Canada).
I just randomly thought about this game today and went looking for emulation options so I'm quite amazed that this repo exists and is only two months old. Thanks a lot!
This brings back so many childhood memories! Thank you so much for reviving this fantastic game.
Thank you, thank you! As others have said, this brings back a ton of memories for me, I also have been hunting for projects that have attempted to emulate the original game in the past but have always come up short. Definitely something special.
I used to play this game with my dad when I was very young on the iMac G3. Now I can play it again and finally beat that last level. Thanks! <3
This is awesome, for a long time I've been running the buggy windows version in WINE- but never got through it. This game was my childhood ;-)
This is incredible! I've been waiting for something like this for years now, and even started attempting to port the Nanosaur code over to SDL myself at one point before getting stuck on making SDL play nice with QuickDraw 3D.
Thanks so much for all your work on this, I fondly remember rainy days in elementary school because they kept us all inside for lunch and recess and we would take turns playing Bugdom on the iMac G3s and eMacs in our classroom.
Thank you so much for this... I remember playing it on the Mac computers in the school library and saving up money to buy it for myself. I still have it!
I played this game constantly as a kid, and I assumed I would probably never see it again. I was overjoyed to find this today, thank you for all your hard work (on this and Nanosaur)!
Still can't believe how well this runs. How much can I pay you to do a similar port for Bugdom 2?
@keithpickering I'm working on Otto Matic at the moment. I'll probably do Bug 2 eventually :)

Awesome. I played Bugdom all the time on the Mac in my first grade class. We had a PC at home, so I was always disappointed by the awful port. When it came to the sequel I was so excited, but I could never even get it to run. So it would be a new one for me
This brings back so many good memories from middle school. Thanks for porting this and other Pangea titlesâ incredible work.
~Random question - I saw that you did some kind of âmodel clampingâ tweaks. Were you able to open the models in a modern 3D editor, or did you have to edit the raw data? (Iâm still holding out hope, 20+ years later, that thereâs a way to create custom Bugdom levels and tweak the models, haha~
(EDIT: mostly answered my own questionâ saw your Pomme project. Cool stuff!)
This game was a treasured part of my childhood; thank you for resurrecting it!
Much appreciate your work. Bugdom Level 6 crashed twice while walking thru the log to end level. Any suggestions?
Incredible!! So heartwarming to find this project, I can't thank you enough and bloody good work
I just discovered these and other Pangea Ports. I am in awe. I have just played Nanosauer, Power Pete, Bugdom and OttoMatic with a fluid frame rate on my big-ass 120hz 4k TV, and on a Windows-based system no less.
Please continue your work. As someone who has been struggling to keep old favoriates alive with SheepShaver for over a decade now, I cannot stress enough how much the discovery of your projects mean to me.
Same as above, thank you very much for the reviving those good memories!
Thank you very much for reviving this gem! (fingers crossed for a possible future release of Enigmo...) :-)
Thank you so much for reviving this gem! It was great to play it after 15 years!!
Hi there, Thank you for reviving this wonderful game! I loved playing this game 20 years ago and was just so excited to play it again! Just like Nanosaur! Excellent work! :) Thank you so much!
