Could you indicate the test that you are referring to, please? :slightly_smiling_face:
I'm thinking of two possible places:
test_superrumd()
in test_atooms.py
: I added a precautionary print because the number of read frames seemed wrong, but after discussion with my collaborator (who authored the atooms backend), this is perfectly normal and has to do with the way output trajectory files are written by RUMD. This test is run only if atooms is installed, however.test_read_write_atooms()
in test_trajectory.py
: this test lacked a skipIf()
decorator if atooms was not installed. This is now fixed. However, this test does not directly concern RUMD.Either way, RUMD itself is not required. The code can natively read RUMD trajectories, or alternatively rely on atooms to do so.
@jorisparet clarified!
MakeTests throws some minor error from a test using RUMD
