Hi, could you please pick the PR https://github.com/devshawn/kafka-gitops/pull/52 from the orignal project ? This sould allow changing replicas and would be a big incentive for us to switch to this fork.

The original change was reverted in this fork because it broke most of the tests (and was never fixed). https://github.com/joschi/kafka-gitops/discussions/175#discussioncomment-6995360
