Endless level mode confirmed
I think my main concern with an endless upgrade system is that it might feel exhausting or unfulfilling to players. Usually there's some type of cap and then the rest is all to the player's skill.
I wouldn't mind seeing this drawn* out, though. Can we made a paper/test version of how this would play out?
* drawn out, as in "is there any way we can see this in action in some form"
I should be able to prototype this down the road as a separate game mode!
We had a large upgrade tree in the single player - what if we used it again, but made them have lots and lots of levels?
That way we can justify only spawning the minimum in a new system and not have to worry about technical limitations. Then the players still have progression that is roguelike.
