Aluminium Single Plate DXF update? #79

I've been using the Prusa3alu-frezovany-v4.dxf file for several printers now, and there are some issues with the file: Y-axis mounts are too high - HPB screws hit it and you can't use the LM8UU printed holders because they also contact?? The arduino holes don't line up. I think the y-bed should have 4 bearings (personal issue) Wasted material around y-bed, could cut out motor mounts etc.

I think the Prusa3_SC10UU-v1.dxf frame is much better design and solves many of these issues. But it isn't compatible with standard LM8UU bearings? Is there a more up to date frame file floating around? How should I go about editing a .dxf or is the .dxf file generated from some other file?

Y bed should definitely not have 4 bearings, they add nothing than more resistance and wear. The dxf is made in cad program, you can edit it for example in librecad. We do not want to use cut motor mounts, printed ones are strong enough, and dampen vibrations a bit so the printer is more quiet. I did not have the issue with parts hitting the frame, can you please document it (photos)

If you want to make changes to the template, try starting with alu-frame.dxf from https://github.com/josefprusa/Prusa3-vanilla/

Closing this issue - Jo had newer version of the plate in Prusa3-vanilla and I am pretty sure the clearence problems dont exist in current models.
