Posting a new blog entry doesn't work. MySQL error #4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Login to the site and browse to publish
2. Start a new blog entry
3. Enter all required fields
4. Save the new blog entry

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The new blog entry should be stored int he database but it is not.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Pixie v1.0
Windows XP, Apache 2.2.9, PHP 5.2.6, MySQL 5.0.45

Please provide any additional information below.
The problem is in the `post_views` field which is assigned a default value
of '' while it is an int. MySQL reports this is not a valid value.

I've attached a patched source file (fix in line 1015)
