This is the new branch based off master with changes to lib only.

@adatoo merged. Thank you! I'll move main.go back to v1 now and add the precision flag. Then I'll do a 1.8.0 release.

@adatoo we forgot to add a unit test! So I pushed https://github.com/josephburnett/jd/commit/a2d4783ab97c7680e5335a5d964ac1b9fb709f70
