[Feature Request]: Adding in approved devices #308

What feature would you like to see added to TallyArbiter?

Adding in approved Devices.

Profiles for Tally devices could be sponsored by the manufacturers or for them to write the code for their devices.

@hadphild can you explain this a little further? We have had some video switcher manufacturers reach out to us about adding specific support. But when you say “devices”, are you talking about Tally Arbiter Source Types?

More the devices for less technical people. IE Panasonic UE 150 and what TSL version that has and all the tally features in TA. This could apply to all Tally Devices. IE if a PTZ is in a Techs preview to move can be Green or if there are other states.

Device Actions as a part of a device profile. Makes sense. Would be a nice way to auto tally those things without the user having to specifically set it up.
