Windows 10 Settings app uses live regions to communicate Windows Update download and installation status for individual updates. When this region changes, NVDA receives live region change event, which can quickly become out of sync with screen content because NVDA will announce the live region without interrupting speech. Therefore cut off speech whenever this live region changes.
