5 years ago I've made some pretty significant progress on performance on large maps, in particular as it relates to fills. I am going to close this issue, but if you find performance issues coming up again, please feel free to reopen it.
Still working on verifying if increasing map size is the actual issue, however perception is that as map size increases, clicks are taking many seconds (5-15) to register at times, ESPECIALLY if it's a new fill-action in a larger area (adding fill to new rows and/or adding FOW to new rows) after the map is already large.
