Restore previous Alt+Up, Alt+Down behaviour #27

I was used to keeping Alt+Down pressed down when creating cursors over hundreds of lines, and if I got past the last line I needed to edit, quickly back up with a one or more Alt+Up keystrokes. Now Alt+Up will instead ADD more cursors starting from the top. That feels unnatural IMHO, could you please restore old behaviour, or possibly add a configuration option?

I just noticed using Ctrl+Shift+Up/Down can get rid of the excess cursors - nonetheless I would rather prefer the previous behaviour.
