First impressions of the MoErgo Glove80 ergonomic keyboard - Josh Collinsworth blog

How does the Glove80 stack up against similar keyboards like the Moonlander and Ergodox? I share my impressions after the first few weeks of use.

Thanks for sharing your journey! I've learned a few things. In a similar search of a more ergonomic keyboard, I landed with a Keyboardio Model 100. The people behind investigate a lot when building this keyboard too. Maybe this can best viewed on their former Kickstarter page. The learning curve is steep and there is no wireless option, but I'm happy with it.

@Guirec I personally prefer a keyboard that's not quite that minimalist when it comes to total number of keys, but that does look very nice.

I'm glad your RSI has been easing, whether or not this keyboard is a driver of that or not. I also went from the Moonlander to the glove80 and have been loving it so far.

It was interesting reading your notes on the hardware reset button on the moonlander because I didn't use it once. I changed my layout daily for almost 3 months on the moonlander and used a key combo to enter bootloader mode every time. I prefer that to the hardware version because it's faster and I don't have to leave a paperclip lying around.

It also sounds like you might like sunset switches in your glove80. Even though they don't offer them standard, there are people willing to do the soldering and unsoldering for incredibly inexpensively on the discord (at least in the US)
