I think you might really enjoy this book, Parenting Beyond Power: How to Use Connection and Collaboration to Transform Your Family--and the World. It's written by the host of the Your Parenting Mojo podcast, which I've followed for awhile and have been involved in her parenting and learning memberships for a couple years now. Her approach essentially applies Non-Violent Communication practices to family relationships for going from noticing feelings to determining unmet needs and collaboratively solving problems, within the context of white supremacy/capitalism/patriarchy systems. Also, always glad to hear about adults helping protect space for kids to be respected.

@kwugirl great suggestion, thanks. Since you left that comment, I've now listened to a bunch of her podcast. It's interesting, I agree with lots. I requested the book be added to my library system, so I'll read it when it gets added. Again, thank you. 🙏
