What is the reason for using this instead of the ROS2 package creating commands? #8

Been working through your Building a mobile robot videos and im interested in your reasoning for doing this instead.

Not sure Josh responds to questions anymore. I've been after him for weeks but seems to be engaged with some other priorities 👍

Hi sorry yes I have had a bit going on and find it tough to manage all the messages on various platforms...

@lewibs I do actually have a tutorial on how to create packages the normal way that you ideally watch first (part of my "Getting Ready" series). In this case I didn't want to spend too much video time going through even the project-specific boilerplate and also setting it up on git etc. Using the template gives people a straightforward way to jump in and avoids some early problems with misconfigured projects.
