Redmine 2.2.x compatibility #23

Any chances that we’ll see a port from Prototype to jQuery and a 2.2.x compatible version?

I'll try to get around to upgrading it over the next couple weeks. I can't promise anything for sure though. I'd love to convert to jQuery.

Has any progress been made on this issue, maybe in another branch? I'd love to see it working!

As predicted once I stated looking at this my life blew up. I have not made progress on this issue :(

Did you try https://github.com/joshsten/redmine_jchat.git and https://github.com/sukima/redmine_jchat/tree/Conversion_to_1.0.0 ??

The first one is the version that I tried half a year ago, yes. The second version you mention has only four minor commits which are also a couple of months old. I don’t see how these changes would make the plugin compatible to 2.2.x. There are still errors, because of the missing Prototype framework:
