Since we are developing lauf at an 'alarming' rate, making commits to the repo almost daily, perhaps we could just have no version. Rolling release, as in there is no version. The version just corresponds to the date of the commit you have. For testing, we have no version, just 'development', and for stable, we just name the version after the date that the commit that it was merged into at testing.
