Picasa update on MAC OS - X 10.6.2 - 4 GB ram 2 GHz Intel core 2 Duo #20

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I get this error when Picasa attemps to update.  
2. google software update was not abble to install the updates. It will try 
again Later.
3. Running as administrator But it does not ask for permission to update.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Then 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
