Importing a timetable removes all previously added modules #5

Open joshuan98 opened 1 year ago

As a user of both nusmods and yamom, I want to be able to combine my nusmods timetable in yamom without removing existing modules already in yamom so that I can combine my two timetables together

Team's Response

The purpose of importing data is to transfer data from NUSMods when starting out. We do not expect users to be jumping between platforms or to do any sorts of combination between platforms.

In line with our target group, students who are familiar with NUSmods already know there is no warning that their current planner will be replaced when importing a timetable.

Team chose [response.Rejected]

Reason for disagreement: "In line with our target group, students who are familiar with NUSmods already know there is no warning that their current planner will be replaced when importing a timetable." - This is false. NUSMods has a header that appears at the top for confirmation before replacing the current timetable.
