Hi,
if you are looking for the manual for Interactive Brokers' API, you can find it 
here:
http://www.interactivebrokers.com/download/newMark/PDFs/APIprintable.pdf

I am guessing you would need to refer to 'Active X' part for more specific 
details which would relate to R.

Closing, since this was a request for documentation of the API, which is covered by the TWS documentation.
