Objects move back after being moved #159

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the properties editor for an object
2. Change the position and click "Apply"
3. Without closing the window, make changes such as moving to a distant 
location or reparenting the object

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The object should stay at the last applied position. Instead it jumps back to a 
previous position.
