Delete does not work from Manage Content web UI #304

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.In the Server Admin console, navigate to Manage Content
2.Click on the "users" link
3.Click on the delete link associated with a user

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I would expect to get a delete confirmation dialog and then see the user 
directory and all its contents deleted. Instead, the user name and delete link 
are grayed out, but you can still click on the user name and browse the 
contents of their directory. The situation is the same after a server restart.
