Recent app button not triggering recent app #33

Hello, when customizing the taskbar, the recent app button stop working at next reboot.

I found a workaround to this, reset the button position and re set them after each reboot but it's long and annoying over the time.

Build date : 22/06/2013 Build type : Linaro Patch : open p droid If won't fix, please remove the option since it's just broken (if possible)

EDIT : Physical button still works when the problem happen (long press on physical home bring recent apps)

Can you reproduce this when not using any additional patches? Does the same error occur when using a plain build?

I just reproduced it without open p droid patch. Problem happen exactly the same way.

Just tested on my transformer here using a normal unpatched build. Unable to reproduce.

Customized the navbar to include a search button. Tested both. Both worked.
Rebooted. Launched Firefox. Returned to home. Tried recent apps button. Works.

Are you sure you are running a clean build? What gapps do you use?

I think i'm using gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip , i have the front cam force close problem on gallery, should i try with an other package ? Did you try to change button order and see if the problem trigger ? (i'm wondering if a part of the problems i reported are due to wrong gapps now)

Edit: Tried moving. Can reproduce.

But: It's not like any of this code is in any way specific to the TF101 or touched by any code we have control over. If you want it fixed, you should try it on a official CM-build on some device and file an official bug-report if you can reproduce it there :)

That said, your gapps are very, very obsolete and should be updated to fix numerous bugs anyway.

Thanks , will patch one of them after updating rom. I don't have any device with offical CyanogenMod, won't be able to fill a report.
