Thank you! Just for my education: what is the advantage of having so many steps in the yaml passing data from one to the next rather than doing everything in a single script?

so this reads the folders in
/Cores
then starts a job to add a hash version then zip each, before commiting them all in the same way the existing single-zip one doesI'm not clearing the existing zips from the folders but the workflow could if wanted
this'll need https://github.com/jotego/jtbin/pull/306 merged in first or all the cores will fail validation
I've tested this locally using https://github.com/nektos/act & it seems all is good (once the cores pass validation) though I had to cut down on the number of cores locally since my local docker really didn't like having ~16 jobs all checking out the whole repo at once, but all I tested with ended up in the zips folder & commited
