Serve test.osm2pgsql.org via HTTPS #12

Hi,

would it be possible to serve the tiles from test.osm2pgsql.org via HTTPS as well?

This would allow to use the tiles from HTTPS sites. HTTP is not possible to use due to browsers’ Mixed Content policy.

It would be awesome to be able to use the X-RAY tiles from https://maputnik.github.io/editor/ for quick experiments or from GitHub pages to publish maps with custom styles.

I’m thinking of creating “debug map styles” such as coloring all buildings by building=* type, coloring highways by maxspeed, and so on.

test.osm2pgsql.org is a test/demo site. It will go away at some point. Do not use the tiles anywhere. So, no it will not be available as HTTPS.

I hope that somebody at some point will offer a stable hosting for this, maybe I'll do it somewhere. Maybe somebody else. At the moment there are no plans.
