Allow to override CXX/CXXFLAGS through environment #69

The reason with which #68 was closed is invalid: make is not involved in this change, and currently there's no way to build tests with proper systemwide CXX/CXXFLAGS settings without modifying the script.

Sorry, I was confused there for a moment with the Makefile vs. shell script thing. I have committed a fix now in a2c7a2430325266aaf7c480dde27dcaf530f98a6 and am closing this pull request. Please open a new issue if the fixes in that commit aren't enough.
