Feature requests: /metrics (prometheus) endpoint #109

I've gotten really into monitoring lately and was looking for a /metrics endpoint so I could monitor my jottad with Prometheus.

I was wondering if this would be anything to consider?

Hehe that is an interesting thought. We use prometheus a lot internally and we like it so it's not out of the question at least. I've made an internal issue. Maybe it gets picked up :)
