I see there's FreeBSD support. Would it be hard to add OpenBSD support as well?

Hi aerique. We don't currently plan on supporting any more platforms (in the immediate future).

In the mean-time, have you tried running the FreeBSD version on OpenBSD? This man-page might help: https://man.openbsd.org/OpenBSD-4.9/compat_freebsd.8

That has been removed from OpenBSD a looong time ago :-D

I'll go try running the Linux version in a VM for now.
