Default trend location config option #285

Everyone doesn't need to know what is trending worldwide. Instead it is more
important to know what is trending local.

It would be great if there was some way to specify it. Okay I know we can
manually change $woeid in twitter.php, but that way too much work.

How about a define() in config.php?

Slightly confused. How do you know where your users are so you can select a
local trend for them?

Okay I wasn't talking in multi-user perspective, but self installations.
People will use the mirror that works fastest for them, which means the nearest
dabr mirror.

This indeed doesn't mean that every country has a dabr mirror.
Other option would be to allow a cookie option, in the settings page.

Consider me, I'm from India. Every time I visit the trends page I have to
change the location, painful when you're on GPRS. It would be nice if there
could be some default setting, like in the settings page or a define() in
config.php (not worth if you are having multiple users).

The simplest solution for this is for you to bookmark the page.

I can see that it would potentially be useful for users to set their default
trends location, but I don't like adding extra complexity just for a small
percentage of users.

Fixed in r495, a cookie is stored each time you visit the trends page so it can
remember which you last looked at.
