As I write this comment there is currently only one scene compatible with the current version. Currently I am writing scenes by hand as there is not yet any way to create them within the app (this will be another issue).
New scenes will be useful to test UI, as they will have different sets of widgets, and they will enrich the user experience. Each scene is an art piece all its own that can generate many images and behaviors. Scenes are the content of the Joyographic app.
Some potential scenes ( I have worked on some version of all of these in the past 2.5 years ):
[ ] Kaleidoswirl - Animated mandala generator. Moving, spinning, pulsing, and repeating photographic or abstract elements, optionally over a base image or camera input. Each generated frame will be modified in real time with radially symmetric warps such as kaleidoscopes, spirals, or ripples.
[ ] Biota - L-system generator that can create a variety of lifelike forms with different branching and animation out of simple elements.
[ ] Still Life - A generative photography experiment with common objects such as vases of flowers, fruit, etc. that can be arranged algorithmically with varying degrees of "rarity".
[ ] Mosaic - Environmental art generator showing outdoor scenes with leaves, stones and other objects arranged algorithmically and perhaps animated.
[ ] Wild sky reflection - Aurorae, moons, meteors, UFOs, and ??? in outdoor nature scenes with sky reflection
