Is there a way to opt-out of the analytics tracking? I have the Auto-Replace option set to Off; I’m only using the EmojiOne™ keyboard as a convenient way to copy-and-paste emojis. This seems to have no effect on whether analytics are sent or not (see screenshot).
If I had Auto-Replace set to On (or had the Emoji Swap by EmojiOne™ extension installed and activated), I would begrudgingly accept the justification for analytics tracking… since then, the extension would be parsing/manipulating the DOM of websites. But again, that’s not the case under my setup—I deliberately want to use EmojiOne™ only for copy-and-pasting. I do not want the extension to replace emojis or touch webpages in any other way.
I’m not sure I understand why analytics tracking is still occurring, much less how to disable it (other than removing the extension entirely). Am I missing something? 😕
