Testing

• Following instructions in readme for installation, should be a good enough test (includes running integration tests -- which are also run by github workflows)
• Maybe running the notebooks?
• Reading docstrings?
• Maybe thinking of things to add?
• Maybe thinking of if this organization structure is good?

I am working on a documentation notebook that provides usage examples of the library, but its fine if that doesn't make it into this PR
