as the title says . before my device can successfully boot . i 've done several panics and restart.

any ideas how to fix this? 2023-10-11-08-25-20-001 i've done clean NVRAM but the same issue

jozews321 commented 11 months ago

But it eventually boots?

jhay06 commented 11 months ago

yes , after several restarts

jozews321 commented 11 months ago

Sounds like a hw issue to me. You can try to load the bios default settings to reset everything. NVRAM reset is not enough sometimes

jhay06 commented 9 months ago

i still have this issue . ireset everything . but this only happens in ventura and sonoma . i'm not experiencing this issue when in monterey . also i can boot my other oses installed in other partition with no problem .

jhay06 commented 9 months ago

my guess is it something to do with wlan hardware bootup . because once i successfully boot the wifi started as soon as the apple logo appears.

anyways , does the latest opencore works in monterey ? , i'm planning to go back to monterey since i remembered that only monterey works smoothly on my device with no problems

jhay06 commented 9 months ago

okay i'm back to monterey , this is what i noticed monterey seems works smooth than ventura and sonoma using same opencore version (the latest version 3.0.0) from release

Ventura and sonoma boot up time is 45 minutes but not sure if successful boot or kernel panics monterey boots 1 minute and always successful without kernel panics , so this is not hw issue , there is something wrong in our config when booting ventura and sonoma .
