Improve CSS to make app more responsive #3

Currently the app does not make good use of available screen space - it would be good to make sure it can handle different screen sizes, especially since I want it to work on mobile.

It now makes better use of available screen space, but sometimes still insists on wrapping cards on mobile devices or limited-width windows
