Bad value when using wmiir xwrite /rbar/file #205

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run wmiir create /rbar/file < /dev/null
2. run wmiir xwrite /rbar/file test

What is the expected result? What do you see instead?

Expected is that the write would succeed, but it does not, instead it returns 
bad value

What version of the product are you using (wmii -v)? On what operating
system (uname -a)?

wmii-hg2763
