Great work everyone, I know at the moment it is only a little mod, but it is nearly at the point where we can launch our pre-alpha version to the workshop item placeholder.
All that is left is these: 1: all milestone issues are complete 2: mod is made multiplayer ready (ie if we use this online we can pay each other) 3: we have tested it to death 4: we all concur that we should push it to the workshop (ie any ideas you have has been discussed and either implemented, assigned as a target for the next milestone or discarded)
Our definition of pre-alpha - it basically works to the standard defined in the current project milestone pre-alpha generally means it loads, and does useful stuff, but might not have any particularly exciting features, and many planned features are not implemented yet. Documentation is basically brainstorms, and basic design specs.
Definition of alpha - it is basically ready for player testing and feedback but not considered finished - basically a proof of concept stage. Documentation is design specs and development roadmap
Definition of beta - Early access stage, It is basically implementing all our desired core features, and is useful to players, it is more or less finished, but may still contain bugs or planned enhancements. Documentation is short, and usually to the point.
definition of gamma - Release stage, Is officially released for wider use, core features should not contain any bugs, most major features work and seem bug free, but there may still be enhancements to consider. Any promotion would most likely occur at this point. Documentation is extensive and complete.
definition of delta - DLC stage, this is where things like addons, and enhancements that fall outside the core design goals may be looked at, but the core features are all complete and bug free. It has been released, and users are basically happy with it. Fixes may be released but basically no more major work is being done. Documentation is basically tips and tricks.
