I think an attempt has been made with Idolmaster, but was not successful

Looks like there's still an issue with this game. Something to do with the card reader. It's relatively new to the emulator, so it could be a while.

Keropon commented 3 months ago

1) The game can be run without networking using a offline mode that needs the implementation of the touchscreen. 2) The game needs to receive the card reader response to start up at all in it's main mode. Still, you could run it without a card reader with the Tower mode. Maybe it could be skipped with a memory address code like everyone does with Cobra The Arcade right now? 3) I was working on getting the touchscreen working but haven't had any time at all to continue, it seems that someone else is doing that work right now, though.

* [x] Networking functionality isn't needed for the game to work properly rn since we have access to the offline-mode cheat code.

what was the offline-mode cheat code if i may ask?

PCB Model: V290 FCA JVS

Correction: The actual required JVS board is FCB. Both do look very similar but have different functions. FCA is more so general purpose and FCB is solely for touchscreens communicating over rs232 within JVS.
