Known Issues & Notes In-game, slow, some geometry issues with the characters at the main menu (this is a regression, game used to look fine a long time ago), in-game looks ok, needs more testing to confirm it's fully playable

And do you plan to add a multiplayer feature to android? Or a gamepad compatibility?

literalmente-game commented 5 years ago

Please, edit your issue to match the standard of this tracker:

This is also not the place to talk about or ask for features, you can join the Discord if you want to talk about Play! https://discord.gg/WUGqyv

Sorry, but how do i get the ID of the game? And i didn't Understand the part of the "play! Commit used"

literalmente-game commented 5 years ago

Game ID should show up in the title bar of Play! when you run the PC builds, you can also search for the game ID here http://redump.org/ . Play! commit being the hash that identify the build you're using, you can take a look at the other issues opened to see what they look like

SimplyEarly commented 5 years ago

Ok, i'll see what i can do. Later i edit ok? Thanks so much!

SimplyEarly commented 5 years ago

Ok, i did it :D Thanks for the help and good luck with this emulator

SimplyEarly commented 5 years ago

Just a doubt, but about the commit, how do i know if it's right or not? Does it have difference? Like, i am using the emulator in android, then does it have an specific commit? Thanks in advance

literalmente-game commented 5 years ago

It does, each commit is a change in the emulator, without knowing exactly which commit is the source of the build you've used we can't be sure about regressions/progress for each game. But you're correct, would be nice (and easier for reporting) to see the hash in the build itself, I'll ask the main developer for a change related to this ;)

SimplyEarly commented 5 years ago

Sorry if i am wrong, but then do i need to put another commit to know the build i am using in android?

literalmente-game commented 5 years ago

You need only to inform the build you have used in your test, but don't worry about this for now, the developer agreed to add this information in the future

Thank you very much for your report @SimplyEarly! As mentioned by @literalmente-game, I'm going to add a way to easily identify the commit hash in the emulator's UI.

In any case, I wonder if the graphical issues in this game are related to FMAC problems present in other games...

SimplyEarly commented 5 years ago

I have to thank you all for the help!! About the graphic issue, what is FMAC? Sorry if i am bothering..

jpd002 commented 5 years ago

FMAC is a processing pipeline in the VU. Play! doesn't emulate the FMAC properly and this causes issues that look like exploding triangles (list of games having this issue: https://github.com/jpd002/Play-Compatibility/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3Aissue-fmacstall)

SimplyEarly commented 5 years ago

Oh I see. Thanks for explaining! I'll test some other games in android to help build the compatibility list :)
