I'm having no problems with either the LA Times or the New Yorker at the moment. It's possible that Amuse Labs is in the process of rolling out something gradually, in which case it will eventually break for more people.

Could you provide the debug log from the "Save debug log" link in the popup window after reproducing the failure?
