This module could do with a test suite, not least to improve the NPM "quality" metrics. But, also, it would be good.

Initial implementation in bd88ee1c47b6db41ebf2100a78fd257f9a4587ff. These will be enhanced at some point in the future and will aim for fuller code coverage.
