Failed maxfield #3

Failed maxfield (if this happens many times, this loop could be infinite. Ill fix this sometime) Hmm not sure whats causing this

That's because I don't have a great way of choosing how to divide the triangles (at the moment, the code does it randomly and hopes it gets something that doesn't break the 8-links-out rule). I just put in a more descriptive error message.

Great thanks, any idea of what the record is for optimally linked portals? Best as I can find its 50

Yeah, the best I know of was in Africa with about 50 portals.
