Immediate resets upon USB connect on Galaxy S2 #20

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100), Android 4.1.2
2. Run the pedometer in background mode
3. Attach the phone to USB - computer or charger

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
-> The step counter gets reset immediately

What version of the product are you using? On what device and what
operating system version?
