jPlayer as an audio live-stream player not working in safari 5.1.7 #277

audio pause automatically after few seconds.

How old is sSafari 5.1.7 ? My mac is on Safari 8.0.2.

While we support legacy browsers such as Internet Explorer due to corporation restrictions and due to some people not knowing what it means to update their browser... It is assumed that non-IE users will keep their software updated.

To see if it is jPlayer or the old browser, visit the mp3 live-stream url directly and if it works then it may be a jPlayer issue. But I doubt the stream will play.

Other possible errors are that you do not have Flash installed on your mac. The current skins should tell you if their is no solution available... But it cannot tell you if the browser is lying about what it can play. This can happen, since a live-stream is different to a static media file.
