Mp3 files does not play on Ubuntu Firefox 4-5 #45

Hello;

Mp3 files which hosted on Amazon currently does not play in firefox on ubuntu.

Jplayer is requesting file and the file seems ~2kb length.

Same here. This reeks of a flash problem, as the ready event is never fired. I'll try to investigate this soon.

I do not check the githib issues as often as i should. I must have missed the email for this issue...

I suspect that the problem is related to the Firefox 3.6 problem found on all OS, where the wmode="window" needs to be used. All our demos for jPlayer 2.1.0 have been updated to explain this issue.

I have tested with wmode: "window" and it still doesn't work. This is on FF6.

I'm updating my Ubuntu machine and will run some tests.

With the default install of Firefox, 3.6.18 and before I updated Flash (9.something), I got the message that I needed to update my flash plugin when visiting: http://www.jplayer.org/latest/demo-01-supplied-mp3/

Will report back after updating the OS and hopefull figure out how to update Firefox past 3.6 on Ubuntu.
