As a pilot I want the software to build up a map of the "hotspots" in the area where I fly, so that I can see before hand where I'm likely to find thermal activity.
It would be best to somehow segment this data by weather conditions - on windy days, some spots may work better than others, while this may be reversed on sunny quiet days. Winter vs. summer will also make a big difference.
