Sorry, there was a problem retrieving the original document. #22

I found this as a closed issue from long ago, however, if there is still anyone having this problem I have more info. Possibly there is a fix for this. The problem seems to occur for me if I am using Google's multiple-login feature. I often have both my work and home accounts logged in simultaneously. When I suspected the multiple-login problem, I logged in as only one user, and the problem is gone.

I consistently get "Sorry, there was a problem retrieving the original document. Please try again later." whenever I am logged into multiple accounts. It works fine when I am logged in under only one account.

I get the same bad result on 3 different PCs.

All 3 PCs are running Windows 7 with latest patches installed. All 3 PCs are using the latest version of Chrome. All 3 PCs have all the latest patches/updates to all other software packages installed. All 3 PCs are protected against virus, spyware, malware, and phishing. One is a work PC, one is a home PC, and the third is a laptop.

Any hope?

There sure is :) Unfortunately it's going to take a bit of waiting. I am working on a much more robust solution to this which will hopefully take care of this and a lot of other issues that users are having. For example, saving files to other folders, renaming, etc.

Sorry I don't have any more immediate news for you :(

Those will be awesome improvements.

I don't know if it is feasible to send around an announcement when the new version is available, but because of these valuable creature-features, that would be wonderful.

Well you can be sure to hear back from me once it's all good to go, but yeah, getting everyone's attention without obstructing the user experience will be a challenging experiment to say the least ;)

Nonetheless, expect to hear back sooner rather than later!

Best regards, Josh
