Better release notes #2237

This package is clearly being used by a lot of people and it is one the most popular and useful package that I am grateful for. I would just appreciate a better and more organised release notes along with changes noted with each version change.

there is a change log, a commit history, PR's and mirgation notes. that's the best i can do in my free time
