Remember that the swatches can be mixed and matched so you could, for example, apply theme G to the content bg (say it's red) then set each form element to a contrasting swatch (something white, for example). The mix and match is how you get contrast while keeping the swatches relatively simple.
I think it would be best if the user could set the background color of the form inputs to be separate from the content body background color. To demonstrate the need for this, simply change the content body background color to red with no gradient. You will see that the input fields get lost in the sea of red.
