Prepare for BioConductor submission

• [x] need to add my & Rhonda's ORCIDs to the DESCRIPTION file
• [x] Must include ./inst/CITATION file after preprint is up
• [x] Need a vignette that follows BiocStyle vignette guidelines
• [x] Must pass BiocCheck in addition to R CMD CHECK (add a README badge for this as well)
• [x] Need .Rd documentation file for any included datasets
• [ ] BiocParallel backend is "recommended" (unsure how strict that requirement is), though apparently they support foreach loops using BiocParallel::DoParParam() ...
• [x] recommended not to use set.seed() internally but i feel like it's somewhat necessary ...
