I have no idea, but the point has been made since Year 1 that this is a limitation of our study.

Very much agreed. Maybe contact the CSWA and asking for their input directly?

Asking the SGMA group may be the best course of action.

A survey of participants might be worthwhile. Even a annoymous one would be able to tell us how large of a population doesn't fall in the gender binary.
