What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a page using a <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible"
content="IE=EmulateIE7" > declaration.
2. Add some fancy CSS like: li:not(:last-child):after{ content: " ---- " }
3. Add IE9.js
4. View the site in IE and change the Bowser Mode to IE8. (Document Mode will
change to IE7)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Item A
----
Item B
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.1(beta4) IE9 Win7
Please provide any additional information below.
I have fixed this problem in my version of the code by adding the following to
override the detected version.
Add Line 31 Just after ar appVersion = IE7.appVersion...
if(appVersion == 8 && document.compatible.length == 1 &&
document.compatible[0].version == "EmulateIE7") appVersion=7;
